  1. LOVE this show! I am the biggest example of busting the career myth! My life came into sharp focus when I was pregnant with my daughter. I knew I needed to show her what it looks like to live my dreams so she would naturally know that she was supposed to do that too! AND as a songwriter, she has inspired me to create my greatest work! Mama is just getting started! Woo hoo inspired and empowered MOMS!

  2. Terrific! Ha – even my husband was cracking up in the background.

  3. Bitchin' Amy says:

I love these ladies. So funny & VERY candid.

  4. Bitchin' Amy says:

Oh, and, Susan? That red dress is hawt.

  5. Donna says:

Two of my favorite funny ladies (who happen to be moms). And Kimberley, of course. Well done!

  6. Bruce Sallan says:

Love this. Laugh Out Loud funny (Lol for those who have lived in a cave – hmmm, like the late Bin Ladin perhaps?).

As an enlightened man and a SAHD, I believe ALL those myths and need to add some more thoughts and comments, if not out and out myths.

Single moms are not dads and can’t be dads.

Being a mom or dad is a hard job! Let’s not even talk about the teen years!

It’s MUCH tougher alone as a single mom OR dad. But, society does accept single moms a bit more than single dads – especially a SAHD with a wife!

Single dads can be good parents!

    Single dads deserve respect, too.

Moms, single or otherwise, CAN do whatever they want – work, stay-home, a combination…it’s all okay for you women, but it is NOT for us men/dads! Yeah, it wasn’t always that way, but that is the amazing progress of the past 2-3 decades.

There is NO sex after kids. Not a myth. Okay, there are anniversaries.

    Valentine’s Day is for moms/women – men/dads HATE it!

I’m being a total sexist guy today, ’cause I’m in the mood and I’m tired of the crap I took as a single dad from EVERY ONE!

Moms asked me, “What do you do all day?” Can you imagine them asking another mom that?

Dads asked me, “When are you going back to work?”

    AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

Okay, that was fun. Now, go buy my new book which is aptly titled, “A Dad’s Point-of-View: We ARE Half the Equation” at BruceSallan.com.

Oh, I really liked that red dress, too? Where can I get one?

  7. jammie says:

yoga pants and a bun are not myths for kimberley clayton blaine…but then again she came out of the womb with yoga pants, no makeup and a ponytail!

this bit is very relatable….i became more successful and started earning more money AFTER I became a mom…maybe becasue I got serious and stopped partying and got more focused….hmmm

great points of view on this video!
